1. It is the policy of the company to ensure that all reasonable and practicable measures are taken to ensure the health and safety of all its employees, the general public and any other person who may be affected.
2. All employees and subcontractors are expected to abide by the principles of this policy.
3. All employees with specific responsibilities for health and safety must ensure that all legal and statutory requirements are adhered to at all times
4. Suitable and adequate measures will be taken to safeguard any persons, plant, equipment and property likely to be exposed to any known or suspected hazards associated or arising out of the processes being undertaken
5. The company have standing instructions on correct and safe methods of working which must be adhered to by all concerned.
6. The company undertakes to provide information and training as is necessary to ensure the health and safety at work of all its employees.
7. It is expected that all employees and subcontractors accept and fulfil their legal duties under sections 7 and 8 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 wherein they are required to: take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that others who may be affected by their acts or omissions. They must co-operate and with management and not interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of health and safety
